Here’s what we did to tell the world about Payconiq’s new QR code function.
First off: a broad range of social posts targeting consumers. Bam!
Then 30 second radio ads on national radio, both FR and NL.
And yes we know what you’re going to say. Promoting Payconiq with radio? How will people know how to write the name correctly? Smart thinking. But we’re way ahead of you. We turned a weakness into a strength, bought 150 URL’s with different versions of the name and challenged listeners to try to write the name wrong in a separate 10s radio commercial.
And we didn’t stop there.
We targeted local merchants through e-DM and DM, even adding an extra, successful, contest just for them where they could become “merchant of the week” and receive exposure on our social media channels.
Oh and if you actually were crazy enough to scan the QR code that was promoting our QR code, well then you won an extra gift from Payconiq.
